::: Introduction

The Centre for undergraduate courses (B.A. & B. Com. - Pass) for Women students under Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), Delhi University has been established in the year 1996 under the patronage of an eminent educationist, Sh. Shri Niwas Sharma, Founder/Secretary of Arwachin Shiksha Samiti (Regd.), Balbir Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi-32 with a view to enable young women to obtain undergraduate degree from renowned University of Delhi.

The Society is dedicated to the service of the people through spreading the light of knowledge. It has already earned name and fame by setting up four public schools of senior secondary & primary level in Delhi & Vasundhara, Ghaziabad. The Society aims at developing the Centre into a model institute of the Capital and spares no efforts in order to achieve the goal.

::: Aims & Objective

The Centre of NCWEB - Delhi University is for young women, who are holding jobs, doing vocational courses, housewives and also those who cannot attend regular colleges due to various personal reasons, to attend classes during holidays and vacations and then obtain Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree from the renowned University of Delhi.

::: Facilities Provided by Centre
Arwachin Bharti Bhawan provides the following facilities for Centre of NCWEB - Delhi University
* Library facility to all Undergraduate students.
*

The classes are held on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and autumn & Winter vacations of the Delhi University. There are 55 teaching days in a year.

*

At the centers, classes are held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There are about 6-7 periods in a day.

*

Availability of Recognized teachers of the University and Colleges through NCWEB (Delhi University) to teach students.

* The pass percentage of these students is as good as regular students.
*

A major advantage of the Non-Collegiate programme of teaching is its low cost, by utilization existing infrastructure of Centre during Saturdays, Sundays and   vacations.

Competition besides other cultural programmes are conducted.

Picnics & Excursions to educational / Historical places are also conducted for benefit of women students.
